Thank you all for joining us in celebrating an awesome Badmintology season one! We hope you enjoyed the Team Tourney and had fun at the banquet as well. Congratulations to Team Beyond for taking the team championship title, as they battled against Baddiholics in the finals to a 3-2 victory. Also, congratulations to Baddiholics in winning the award for Best Team Name, and to Team 1-Up for winning the Best Team Logo! That was quite a show they put up at the banquet with a singing performance by 1-Up member Louis Zhen. A recap will be posted later with more details to come.
Lost and Found
There has been a report for the loss of an Armortec 900 Power racket during the weekend of the Team Tournament. If anyone took it by mistake please

. Two water bottles have also been found (one that says Trinity College on the front of a clear bottle, and another metal one with an orange cap), if its yours, you can pick them up at Yumo Badminton Center.

Summary of Rules for the JL Team Championship
1. All players must play a minimum of two matches throughout the whole tournament. This will be checked before the final match. If this requirement is not met, the equivalent amount of matches will be forfeited.
2. Players are allowed to play 2 categories per team match; however they must not be the same category. I.e. Cannot play two Mix Doubles (With the exception of Team TMA)
3. All matches are played best of 3 sets, 21 rally points. Please keep accurate scoring in the event of a tie.
4. Mixed team A must be the stronger mixed doubles team. Common sense prevails.
Tie-Breaker Rules
In the event of a tie for the teams in the pool, this is the order in which the tie breaker rule come in effect:
1. The team with the most team matches won.
2. Head to head match-up (If only two teams are tied)
3. The team with the most sets won.
4. The team with the most points won.
5. Decided by a coin toss.

There is only 2 days left till our year end Journey of the Legends Team Championships! This year we've got a total of 12 teams fighting for the top spot in the league. There will also be prizes for Best Team Logo and Best Team Name, so if your team hasn't submitted a logo yet, remember to do so asap! Looking forward to seeing you all this weekend.
