We apologize for the delay, the schedule for Rings of Celebration Open has been finalized. Due to large numbers of entries, we had to move events around to accomodate for gym time, sorry for all the inconvenience caused. Please

Sorry for the wait, it's finally here! Our fourth tournament Tshirt design is out! This time in the Tshirt comes in Sapphire Blue (for all participants entered in 2 or more events), and Irish Green (for winners only!).
Playing one event only? You can preorder one for $9 or buy one at the tourney for $12.
If you're not playing the tourney and would like to purchase a shirt, you can preorder one for $12 or buy one at the tourney for $15.

Its getting near the Olympics and we at Badmintology would like to invite you to the 4th tournament of the year - Rings of Celebration Open at Fraser Heights Secondary School in Surrey! Once again, gather your team and duke it out for the ranking points as we get near to the season finale and the team championship.

Once again we have a snowy Christmas season in Vancouver! We wish you all a very Merry Christmas! How will you be spending your holidays? Most of you will relax and enjoy the holiday season, some will probably be traveling... some of you may even be taking this holiday as a chance to train hard for next year? For those who are always a step ahead of the game, we have tourney news for you in 2010....
First off Yumo is hosting a Mini Open Team Tournament on January 23-24th. It is a "mini" tournament, because differing from the traditional 6 guys 6 girls teams, teams now require a minimum of only 4 guys and 2 girls so that teams can be formed more easily. Matches will consist of 5 matches (2* MD, 2* MX, WD), and best of all, the format of the tournament is ABCD flight! This means everyone will be playing more games and I think this just translates to loads of fun for everyone. Download the entry form here. Entry deadline is January 8th, 2010.
Second of all, Bellevue Badminton Club is hosting the 2010 Li Ning Seattle Open on February 5-7th with a $5000 minimum prize money. There are A and B categories for all 5 events in the Open category. For those who are interested, download the entry form here. Tournament deadline is on January 15th, 2010.
Last but not least, Badmintology will be hosting our 4th tournament of the circuit in the weekend of January 29-31st. Details are yet to be published, but mark the date on your calendar!

[Dec 9th Update]
All individual and team rankings have been updated. The Baddiboomers and 29-All rankings have been compiled separately and we have awarded points for those who competed in the Baddiboomers category at our Summer Fiesta tournament as well.
We now have a total of 28 registered teams competing for one of 16 spots at our year end Team Tourney. As our third tournament just concluded, this is a reminder to all individuals and teams, that the next tournament in January will be your last chance to register in a team or recruit new member.
Again, thanks for all the support and patience. We'll see you guys at the next tourney!
