BV Canada Day Events

Unfortunately the beach party was cancelled due to bad weather conditions, but our spirits were quickly reignited by the perfect soccer weather later in the day. BV Canada Day Soccer Game was held on a chilly Canada Day afternoon but that did not dim the excitement of the 5-on-5 kick-off at Cambie Secondary. With 2 girls on each team, we saw great sportsmanship and intensity in the matches as the game ended in an overwhelming victory for all-star team consisting of strikers Jason and Tania who joined us on the field for the first time. Newcomer Stanley Lee also fought valiantly with his teammates till the end but was unable to overturn defeat as the other team proved too strong for them. Feel free to join us for all BV Events that will be held all summer long, including the upcoming Paintball event, Fireworks, and Beach parties!

Volunteer's Meeting this Sunday

If anyone would like to volunteer for Badmintology in the upcoming season, please attend the Volunteer's Meeting on Sunday, July 3rd 2pm, at Yumo Badminton Center. We will be holding an introduction/orientation session for our upcoming tournament. See you there!

Smash Fantastic Open 2010
