Badmintology Vancouver presents: Smash Fantastic Open 2010
Circuits/Categories: Blue Shell (U19/Open/35+/45+) Red Shell (U19/Open) Green Shell (Open)
Cost: $ 20/30/40
But before we mention the changes, we need to announce our exciting partnership with the myJPScion team at Jim Pattison Scion. As a result of their sponsorship, we are providing all participants with the tournament t-shirt regardless of the number of events played. Along with the free t-shirt, we will be creating draws and activities that offer many prizes to our participants. If you have not already done so, please join our Badmintology Vancouver group for more information and check out the myJPScion fan page on Facebook where they are giving out wicked prizes. Now onto the changes…! We are introducing a third category, a level lower than Red Shell (former Baddiboomer) to separate the levels even farther. The Green Shell category will be an open category for all ‘beginners' that want to compete but is having a hard time doing so at the Red Shell category. It is recommended for those with no formal training but plays frequently at drop-ins or court rentals. For more info on the classification of the new circuits, please visit our Tournament System page. Finally, we will be providing 2 RSL Classic birds for all main draws and 2 Hangyu No. 2 birds for consolation for the Blue Shells. The Red/Green shells will be played with Yonex Mavis 300, and a new bird will be provided each game if necessary. So tell one tell all! We hope to see you there! =) Remember to create your team!
