Once again we have a snowy Christmas season in Vancouver! We wish you all a very Merry Christmas! How will you be spending your holidays? Most of you will relax and enjoy the holiday season, some will probably be traveling... some of you may even be taking this holiday as a chance to train hard for next year?  For those who are always a step ahead of the game, we have tourney news for you in 2010....

First off Yumo is hosting a Mini Open Team Tournament on January 23-24th. It is a "mini" tournament, because differing from the traditional 6 guys 6 girls teams, teams now require a minimum of only 4 guys and 2 girls so that teams can be formed more easily. Matches will consist of 5 matches (2* MD, 2* MX, WD), and best of all, the format of the tournament is ABCD flight! This means everyone will be playing more games and I think this just translates to loads of fun for everyone.  Download the entry form here. Entry deadline is January 8th, 2010.

Second of all, Bellevue Badminton Club is hosting the 2010 Li Ning Seattle Open on February 5-7th with a $5000 minimum prize money. There are A and B categories for all 5 events in the Open category. Last but not least, Badmintology will be hosting our 4th tournament of the circuit in the weekend of January 29-31st. Details are yet to be published, but mark the date on your calendar!
