Badmintology Vancouver 4 – Rings of Celebration saw a return of the champs as previous winners came back to establish their legacy. Hosted at Fraser Heights Secondary in Surrey, attendance was 200+ strong as we ran events from 45+ to U-19. Assisted by the helpers from team SBC and powered by the homemade lunches on sale from the FH school team, BV4 was a gigantic success!

Vancouver 2010 is around the corner and the badminton community celebrated this great event by gathering at the Rings of Celebration Open 2010. The 4th Badmintology Vancouver tournament, held this past weekend on Jan 29th - Jan 31st, has yet another successful turnout!
Thank you to all of you who participated and/or came to watch the intense action the past days. Those who stayed with us through to the end were rewarded with a wonderful Doubles Final! (Although I was alone looking after the draw desk and wasn't able to watch the game )= )
We also like to give a big big thank you to our wonderful draw desk girls and the FHS volunteer team who are the essential part of the success of this tournament. Hope to see you all in our FINALE!

How to get to Fraser Heights |

Never been to Surrey or not sure how to get to Fraser Heights? Follow these instructions and you won't get lost:

Coming from Richmond? Only 3 turns in 30min to Fraser Heights! (Time is approx for Sat/Sun)
1) Take Hwy 91 S across the Alex Fraser Bridge until Nordel Way exit (10min)
2) Follow Nordel Way all the way until 160th St. and make a left (15min)
3) Fraser Heights will be on your right at 108th Ave! (5min)
Travelling from Vancouver? Only 2 turns and 20min to Fraser Heights! (Time is approx for Sat/Sun)
1) Get on Hwy 1 Eastbound from Vancouver
2) Follow across Port Mann Bridge and take 160th St. Exit (18min)
3) Make left turn from exit and left at very next light - 160th St.
4) Fraser Heights will be on your right at 108th Ave! (2min)
Forced to take Transit? No worries, a bus comes right to our door!
1) Take Skytrain (Expo Line) to Surrey Central Station
2) Catch "C74 Fraser Heights" Bus from Bay 12
3) The stop nearest the school is 160th St + 108th Ave (at the Esso station)
